Jarod Gordon, Vice President and Trust Officer at Community National Bank & Trust, completed the requirements and certification exam to receive the designation of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) with the American Bankers Association.
A native of Corsicana, Gordon graduated from Texas Tech University, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Management degree. To further his education in banking, Gordon graduated from the Texas Bankers Association Trust School at Southern Methodist University and the Texas Bankers Association Management Development Program. Gordon has been with the bank for nine years, working with trust and investment clients for the past eight years. In addition to his work at the bank, Gordon is heavily involved in the community. He is the current Chairman of the Board for the Salvation Army and Vice Chairman for the Corsicana Visitor Bureau. He also serves as Treasurer for the Corsicana Education Foundation and Past-President for the Corsicana YMCA.
The Trust and Investment Department at Community National manages over $270 million for local individuals, businesses and charitable foundations, and it makes charitable grants totaling over $630,000 annually to local non-profit organizations.
