  • CORSICANA CREDIT ANALYST

    Position: Credit Analyst
    Location: Corsicana Main Branch

    The Credit Analyst is responsible for analyzing and tracking loan packages for commercial, real estate, consumer and agricultural loans for the lending department. Analyst works with the Chief Credit Officer and Lenders to facilitate the underwriting and analysis of loans by monitoring the financial condition and credit worthiness of loan applicants.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Conducts credit investigations and prepares credit approval reports, including the credit suitability within bank policy.
    • Enters financial statements and related information to financial spreadsheets for analysis.
    • Prepares summary and credit approval reports documenting credit analysis and supporting information for credit decision recommendations.
    • Analyzes all financial data related to new and renewal commercial or real estate loan requests.
    • Studies economic trends in firm's industry or branch of industry to predict probable success of new customer.
    • Visits establishments to determine condition of plant and equipment and compare methods of operation with accepted practices in industry.
    • Evaluates results of investigations, prepares reports of findings, and suggests credit limitations to management.
    • Monitors loan repayment activities and implements strategies for ‘problem’ credits.
    • Maintains database of customer credit histories.
    • Provides on-going credit management support through quarterly and annual reviews presented to Management Loan Committee.
    • Completes collateral inspections as needed. i/e: cattle & equipment inspections; inventory inspections.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills are required.
    • Extensive knowledge of credit scoring, credit review, financial analysis and compliance regulations.

     

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • WEATHERFORD TELLER

    Position: Full-Time Teller
    Location: Weatherford

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and examines checks for endorsements.
    • Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
    • Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and compares totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen.
    • Removes deposits from, and counts and balances cash in, automated teller machines and night depository.
    • Scans daily transactions.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS
    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

    REASONING ABILITY
    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
