PPP Data Release

As a valued customer who received a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan from Community National Bank & Trust of Texas, we want to alert you that the Small Business Administration (SBA) and Treasury Department have announced that they will publicly release certain information about PPP borrowers.
Loans of $150K+
For loans of $150K or more, the following data may be released:
- Business names and addresses
- Business type
- NAICS codes and ZIP codes
- Demographic data
- Non-profit information
- Jobs supported
- Lender name
- Dollar ranges for loan amounts*
*Dollar amounts are being disclosed in ranges of $150K to $350K, $350K to $1M, $1M to $2M, $2M to $5M, and $5M to $10M. Loans of $150K or more account for nearly 75% of the dollar volume of PPP loans.
Loans Below $150K
Agencies will not release business names, but will report loan totals, aggregated by ZIP code, by industry, by business type, and by various demographic categories.
The agencies have noted that PPP borrower applications disclose that this information could become public.
Community National Bank & Trust of Texas is not voluntarily releasing this information and is not calling for its publication. The decision to publish PPP borrower and loan information is a result of actions from Congress, the SBA, and the Treasury. These entities oversee and administer the PPP, and are responsible for the program's implementation, terms, and conditions.
